Prosper Okpue

Board Director Middle East & Africa

Prosper joined UNIBA Partners’ board of directors in 2019 taking over from Rajiv Mathur as Director Africa and Middle East.

Prosper has over 40 years’ experience in risk and insurance management, both in risk management functions and as a broker.

Until 2014 Prosper was the Country & Regional Head of Marsh. He has been the Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Insurance Brokers of Nigeria (IBN) since 1991.

Prosper has a Diploma in Risk & Insurance Management, Bachelor of Law (BL), Masters Degree in Law (LLM) and is a PhD Candidate. He is a Fellow Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (FCRIB), Fellow Risk Management Society of Nigeria (RIMSON) and Member of the Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

He is also a past President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of NCRIB, a lawyer, seasoned negotiator, entrepreneur, start-up and transformation motivator.

Prosper is married with three adult children.
