Alfonso Ansotegui Rebollo

Board Director Europe

Alfonso Ansotegui was appointed Acting Board Director Europe in September 2020.

He brings substantial previous experience to our board, ranging from Marketing (2009), Finance & Legal (in 2011) and Governance & Ethics (2013), a role which closely involved him in drafting UNIBA Partners' Code of Conduct.

Alfonso is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Madrid-based ATS Hanseatic Insurance Brokers, established in 2012.
He is also a former Board Member of ADECOSE, the biggest broker association in Spain. 

Alfonso’s business education and Master in International Markets took him first to the Spanish subsidiary of AC Nielsen, the influential market research company, before bringing him to Group COTES, an influential broker for machinery and industrial risks, where he became the group’s Managing Director.

During his spare time, Alfonso likes to combine his passion for classic car events with travelling and fishing, particularly along his beloved North Coast of Spain. A former ski instructor of the Spanish Wintergames School, Alfonso also tries to spend his winter holidays practicing one of his favorite sports.
