Since the start of the year, six new Partners have joined UNIBA, covering five countries between them. For UNIBA, as a non-profit network of independent, owner-led insurance brokers, every Partner is selected for capability, responsiveness and reliability.
We add a Partner when we see expertise or local knowledge that our network and its Partners need. The six Partners below were chosen on that basis and joined us since the start of the year, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
TL Dallas & Co – United Kingdom
Founded in 1919, TL Dallas is a fourth-generation family firm, owned by its management and staff. More than 200 professionals work across a UK footprint that runs from London to Bradford, Scotland and Northern Ireland, supporting clients in commercial insurance, employee benefits, trade credit, risk management and independent financial services. TL Dallas is represented in the network by Polly Staveley (Managing Director), Tim Mortimer and Ed Harrison.
Barbon Insurance Brokers - Netherlands
Barbon is an independent, data-driven broker located in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. It specialises in risk management and commercial insurance for organisations with complex needs, including housing corporations, municipalities, manufacturers and the waste and recycling sector, and it also advises on company pensions and employee benefits. Barbon is part of the House of Risks group and is B Corp certified. It is represented in the network by Imco Struiksma (Director and Founder), Esther Oostrom (Chief Connection Officer) and Kevin Belovics (Practice Lead Employee Benefits).
Wereldwijd Verzekeren - Netherlands
Based in Laren, Wereldwijd Verzekeren specialises in international insurance programmes for Dutch companies that operate abroad, covering foreign subsidiaries and overseas operations and risk management for multinational businesses. The firm is led by three principals: Kees Oosterlee, Robert Havekotte and Antoine van den Heuvel.
Partner Broker - Bosnia and Herzegovina
Based in Sarajevo, Partner Broker's Bosnian entity is an offshoot of our Croatian Partner, Partner Broker, and extends UNIBA's presence in the western Balkans.
Based in Bogotá, Grupo Ilao brings together 21 leading insurance brokers across seven Colombian cities and is among the five largest intermediaries in the country. With more than 500 professionals serving over 20,000 clients, it combines the resources of a large broker with the personal service of a local one. Each agency keeps its own identity and local standing, supported by shared expertise in strategy, product development, reinsurance and international connections, and by AI-powered tools that the group develops itself.
ASCO Assurances & Conseils - Switzerland
Founded in 2005 and based in Aigle, in French-speaking Switzerland, ASCO is an independent brokerage advising clients on occupational pensions, accident and loss of earnings cover, liability including D&O, construction and cyber risks. It works with more than 40 insurers across the Swiss market and is registered with FINMA, the Swiss financial regulator. ASCO is represented in the network by Michaël Carminati, Agency Manager and Client Officer.
