Penfor was founded in 2018 by former WillisTowersWatson partners with the goal of creating a brokerage firm that challenges established market players through integrity, transparency, and professionalism. After an early dive-out of the employee benefit division to a global broker, one original partner continued the company. Today the company is owned by four working partners.
Penfor operate all over Denmark, with head office in Herlev, Copenhagen and continue to grow. From one person in 2021, we are 16 employees and partners in 2026 and still growing.
Being a licensed and complete independent broker firm, handling both smaller businesses and large corporate clients within P/C business and employee benefits, we serve a diverse client base and work together with all domestic and international carriers represented in Denmark.
Our diverse experience and expertise enable us to advise clients across many industries, including engineering, technology, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, and affiliate marketing. Collectively, we bring more than 150 years of experience in risk assessment and advisory services.

Nickname; ‘The Grand Old Man’ or Encyclopedia. No one can truly love Underberg THAT much. Pulls off spandex outfits just as fabulous as any bike-hero from our country. Kims Mrs. is in… the insurance-business... and Kim’s daughter is in the insurance-business… just imagine that dinner-conversation.
