Empremédia is 100% owned by The Navigator Company, one of the largest Portuguese industrial groups and a world leader in the production of office paper. However, paper industry is not Empremédia's only specialization, as the company also works with large building material and oil & gas companies.

Empremédia acts as the group’s insurance brokers and risk managers but also handles non-group business. Approved Broker since August 2011.
