Founded in 1973, Assiconsult is a fully independent and family-owned insurance brokerage. Led by the second generation of the Stimpfl family, with Gregor Stimpfl as CEO since 2003, the third generation, Katharina Stimpfl, is already engaged in operations and preparing for future leadership.

Headquartered in Bolzano, South Tyrol, the company operates offices in Milan, Trento, Merano and San Candido. Our team of 120 professionals is fluent in German, Italian, Spanish and English, enabling us to serve clients across multilingual environments.

We focus on SMEs, large corporations and public institutions in sectors such as manufacturing, plastics, machinery, food and beverage, wood, retail, hospitality, infrastructure, and professional services. Niche expertise includes mountain transport systems (funiculars, cable cars, lifts), professional indemnity for engineers, architects, lawyers and accountants, medical liability, healthcare, as well as credit insurance and bonding (mainly through our Milan office).

Assiconsult has strengthened its market position by acquiring three local brokerage firms in recent years, while maintaining independence. We combine strong local relationships in Northern and Central Italy with extensive international experience serving mid-sized and corporate multinational clients.
