Founded in 1994 Mentor quickly developed into a leading Polish broker.

Major clients are in energy, mining, food, furniture, television and light industry. It has special life and pension programs for governmental agencies such as the fire department and police department, covering approximately 130,000 individuals. Mentor also handles coverage for the country’s 50,000 prison wardens and customs officials.

In 1998, Mentor co-founded Epoka S.A. for pension fund management. It is also the co-founder of Energo Inwest Broker S.A. Its shareholders, which comprise the largest conventional power plants in Europe, are also its customers. This is a unique phenomenon in the Polish market.

Mentor services are based on European standards. All staff directly involved with providing brokerage services are licensed brokers. Its state of the art IT systems create a virtually paper-free environment.

Mentor has successfully completed the service quality examination and obtained an international standards certificate ISO 9002.

In addition to headquarters in Torun, offices are located in Poznan, Rzeszów,Gdansk Szczecin, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Kraków. Mentor also has agencies in Lódz, Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Kleczew, Konin and Lublin.

President Marek Kaliszek is a co-founder of Mentor S.A. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering as well as an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Lódz Technical University. He has also completed post-graduate studies in the Department of Insurance at the School of Management and Banking in Poznan.
