Crombie Lockwood NZ Ltd.

The Crombie Lockwood Group commenced operations in 1978. The business originally traded as Crombie Stephens and Associates. In 1983 Steve Lockwood joined the Company and opened its Palmerston North office. The business has now over 30 offices around New Zealand.

The group has facilities for placements at Lloyds through its subsidiaries OMPL.

Crombie Lockwood was purchased by Wesfarmers Australia in 2007. In December 2007 Mahony Trendall & Jack Limited was purchased.

The Combined Group is now the second largest Broker in New Zealand employing approximately 360 staff. It embraces all lines of Commercial and Domestic business, both General and Life.

Dennis Mahony has over 30 years industry experience and brings a thorough and pragmatic business approach. For many years Dennis was a Council Member of the Corporation of Insurance Brokers of New Zealand.

Martin Trendall has specialised in Risk Management and Insurance Broking for many significant film productions as part of his diverse and complex commercial portfolio. The nature of this work, along with over 30 years of experience, provides the company and its clients with an invaluable knowledge resource.
