Leed Risk Services has its origins dating back to 1985 (known as Leed Insurance Brokers) and is now one of the state's largest independent locally owned brokers. Leed has over 250 years of broking experience amongst its 4 principals, employs 16 staff, and services over 3,000 clients.
Workers Compensation is a key area that Leed has developed and is a market leader in Workers Risk management and Occupational Health and Safety programs. A model to target management systems has been developed, delivering the building blocks to help businesses reduce risk and achieve total cost savings, which include Insurance Premiums.
Leed, as well as providing general broking services, specialises in Manufacturing, Retail, Communications, IT risks, Health & Fitness Industries as well as claims management. A financial services division advises on Superannuation (Pensions) Partnership protection, Critical Illness, Income protection and Wills.
Leed is a member of the cluster group IBNA (Insurance Brokers Network Australia) and Austbrokers Holdings Pty Ltd known as AIMS. AIMS has 120 broker members spread across Australia. The network uses its collective buying power to deliver advantaged products and services to its membership. AIMS members buying power exceeds $2 Billion in premium.
Con Manetas is a founding Principal director and has over 30 years of industry experience. Con spent twelve years with CGU Insurance as a property underwriter and account manager. Property and Liability risks, as well as claims management, is Con’s area of expertise. Con was the national chairman of IBNA Ltd, and currently serves on a number of state and national cluster group roles. Con was born in Egypt, raised in Australia, and speaks fluent Greek.
