Henschien Insurance Services Ltd. AS was established in 1974 as a marine broking company. In 2000 they established their daughter company: Henschien Insurance Services Skade & Liv AS, a non marine broker.

Two of the original founders Hans-Petter Henschien, General Director, and Harald Grepne, Claims Director, are still active within the company, but HIS have equally built up a new generation of highly qualified people at all levels to be well prepared for the future.

Henschien’s philosophy has always been to provide a personal and highly professional service in all facets of insurance broking. The clients, small or large, have been and shall always be their central focus and Henschien is committed to providing innovative solutions that will benefit their clients in an exacting and demanding field of business.

Henschien provide services to large- and middle-sized clients in all types of industry. As a full service broker they can provide all lines of insurances within the Nordic market.
