Ferrer & Ojeda Correduria de Seguros has a 100-year history of meeting the insurance needs of industrial firms throughout Spain. It also provides services in neighboring Andorra. The firm ranks in the top three brokers in Spain (excluding banks and international groups) and its three offices serve approximately 9,000 clients.

In 2003 the Catalan government awarded Ferrer & Ojeda with the title of Best Broker in Catalonia.

F&O offers both commercial and personal lines insurance. It has special expertise in the areas of water distribution and treatment, and waste collection and treatment, as well as with meat and fish processing factories, printing and construction industries, hotels and farms. It also works with local municipal organizations.

Ferrer & Ojeda’s employee benefits services have developed in the last 10 years subsequent to the legalization of this business in Spain. The firm now offers group health insurance, life and pension coverages.

Private Lines are serviced through wholly owned Plan Risk, Blat Correduría de Seguros specializes in Farming and Agricultural lines, and Credito y Riesgos Correduría deals with Trade Insurances.

The principals of Ferrer & Ojeda are members of five families who have been with the business for generations: for the Ojeda family, four generations: the Ferrer family, three generations: the Lopez Sans family, two generations: the Lopez Balcells family, three generations: and the Alsina family, two generations. All partners are currently working in the company.

Juan Lopez Sans has been with Ferrer & Ojeda for 12 years. He enjoys tennis, golf, sailing, car racing, motorcycles, music, gardening and literature.
