Young and dynamic Bordero was founded in November 2006 as an independent, Croatian owned insurance broker operating throughout the country.

While the company is still young Bordero's professional team has plenty of experience coming from major European insurers, re-insurers and brokerage firms as well as their local subsidiaries in Croatia. Senior partner Alen Boras has been in insurance for almost 20 years, including in leading positions in Allianz Zagreb.

In addition to excellent knowledge of insurance regulatory issues you can count on us for information about the Croatian insurance market and insurers, their scope of coverage and premium rates, financial capacity, stability and profitability, which are crucial parameters in the selection of a high-quality insurer and insurance programmes.

All members of the team are licensed for all lines of business: property, liability, personal accident, health insurance, motor, transport, life.

Bordero also provides risk management services, selection of the most favourable insurance programmes, insurer selection, claims handling and general consulting. In that way, we help provide maximum security while keeping insurance costs in check.

Alen Boras, Senior Partner, is a graduate from the University of Economics in Zagreb, fluent in English, and an expert for property and liability insurance.

Mirela Bihar holds a degree from the University of Economics and speaks fluent English.
