Austbrokers Premier Pty Ltd. was formed in 1985 following the acquisition of an existing insurance brokerage. Since then, the brokerage has seen considerable growth both naturally and by acquistion and merger of other brokerage portfolios. They are an independently owned Queensland based General Insurance Brokerage including access to a well established Financial Planning firm.

In December 2009, Austbrokers Premier admitted a new Partner: Scott Hastings. Austbrokers Premier is a progressive and committed organisation, their goal being to provide their clients with the highest level of advice and service. They analyse the client's needs, source the right solutions, and deliver those solutions tailored to suit the individual client. Their reputation for integrity and proven performance within the insurance industry is without reproach.

Austbrokers Premier has special facilities and expertise in the timber industry, as well as being the preferred broker to the Pet Industry Association of Australia and the Farriers Association. Major growth is planned over the next 5 years, and the business plan reflects the solid intentions to implement innovative training and promotional activity to achieve that growth.

Public company, Austbrokers Holdings Ltd. is a major shareholder of Austbrokers Premier, and thus provides support and security to the business, as well as adding value on an ongoing basis.

Austbrokers Premier is a member of the National Insurance Brokers Association, the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers, and the Timber Qld and Timber and Building Materials Association.
