49th Partners Meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Hosted by Argentinean partner INSCO, this 49th Partners Meeting focused both on Latin America and on the impact which the current crisis has on insurance buyers, insurers and brokers. A panel discussion monitored by Fernando Belchior looked at the various aspects of the economic dowturn. The panelists were economist and former Argentinean secretary of finance Daniel Marx, Allianz Argentina CEO Edward Lange as well as John Wright, Paul Lam and Paul-Emmanuel Casier. The panel discussed the case for bailing out struggling insurers. It also looked at available funds for insurance products and the increasing role of creativity both on the brokerage and the product design side.
