Ricardo Alejandro Izzo – Latin America
Ricardo joined our board of directors in October 2011, taking over the development of the Latin American region from Jacques Goldenberg.
Ricardo has been an insurance broker for virtually all of his professional life, starting out on the reinsurance side but moving into direct insurance as well in 1986.
One of the co-founders of INSCO in 1992, Ricardo has served the company since then and has assumed varied responsibilities within the organization over time, acting as its commercial and international director before taking over as the president and CEO of the company.
Ricardo believes in the importance of continued education and has throughout his career invested time in attending courses and seminars on management, negotiation skills, various insurance topics and languages. More recently, Ricardo has been specializing in engineering, construction and energy insurance.
In 2009, Ricardo was appointed advisor to the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Argentina.
Ricardo was born and raised in beautiful Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he lives with his wife and daughter. His hobbies are travelling and learning about different cultures as well as playing golf.
